1st time "spelunker" - the Adventure tour led by Emily was a blast! Highly recommended 👌🏻 The pictures don't do it justice

An awesome experience. The ‘wildness’ of the caves was super special and our guide Tiffany was inspiringly enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Would definitely cave again after having done this - it was one of the most memorable parts of my time in Canada.

This. Was. An. Adventure. One of the best activities I have done in Camore (and Banff). Started off at the office with a quick orientation about the cave and picked up our gear. Drove to the trail head where we had a short hike to the entrance of the cave. Changed to our coveralls and off we went! We got to climb, slide down some rocks and squeeze into some spaces. It was a thrill! My friends and I did the Explorer tour which was a great introduction to the cave since I will definitely come back to do the Adventure tour. Huge shout out to our guide, Jamie. She was great all throughout, really approachable, knowledgeable and had great energy.

This cave tour was fantastic ! I made the 2 hours and a half tour with my 2 sons (12 and 14) for my birthday and we really loved it. Jamie our guide made the tour even more interesting with all the fun facts she gave us all along (and she speaks french 🤗). Right after we exited the cave my kids asked me to sign us up for the 4,5 hours tour ! Thank you Canmore Cave Tours for make this thrilling experience very smooth and fun.

AMAZING!! Going into this we had never done anything like this before and it was something we will never forget. We went on the explorer package. That kept us in the cave for around 2hrs 30mins. There is another package "Adventurer" that you get to stay in the cave for longer and we will gladly be doing that package next time! Our guide (Brent) was very knowledgeable and so much fun to take us on this adventure and if i was to go again i would gladly ask for him to be our guide! It started off with a 30-40min hike and the view is amazing. Once you get to the cave you get to really feel like it was exploring the cave and not just a tourist thing. You get to climb, slide, squeeze and crawl beautiful places you will love to see, all to the sounds of a knowledgeable guide telling you not just about the cave but all aound the history, rock make up and all kinds of Information that adds to the adventure. The 2hrs underground felt so short as it was amazingly fun and each room we climb into kept getting more and more grand! We will gladly be going back for another round in the winter as the cave keeps the same temperature in both winter and summer. I cant speak any higher of the amazing time we had and how much fun we had. We cant wait to go back for another dive into Rat's Nest Cave!! Edit: When we booked online, we got there "gopro" rental and 2 days later we got an AMAZING!!! (Thanks Conner) video that was edited BEAUTIFULLY and around 2hrs of raw footage to use however we want. I would highly recommend it, as it was just set it up on my helmet and forget till we got back! I thought i couldnt speak any higher of the tour. I was wrong. The videos, pictures and amazing edited video from them i will share, show and tell everyone that will listen. I will 100% be going back and thanks to everyone at Canmore Cave Tours for starting a passion in the new hobby for me and my girlfriend!! Amazing. Just amazing.

We can not recommend Canmore Cave Tours enough! After confirming our tour online, they did an amazing job sending emails with information and informative videos to assist with preparing for the tour. The office was very easy to find using Google maps and it was an easy drive to the base of the mountain. We did the Explorer Tour (about 4.5 hours total and 2.5 hours inside the cave). Our tour guide, Brent, was phenomenal! Very knowledgeable of the area, mountain(s), cave, history, etc etc. It's about a 30-40 minute hike up the mountain and Brent checked in regularly with the group to see if we needed breaks throughout. The cave itself was amazing! A bit of rope work where you have to use your upper body, but mostly crouching, crawling, and sliding through. There are optional tight passages to squish through that were fun to try! These tours operate year round through all seasons! While ours was in September and the weather was fantastic, we will certainly be back in the winter to do the Adventurer Tour (4 hours in the cave) as the cave stays the same temperature year round!

We went on our first cave tour ever yesterday, and all we can say is… WOW! We’ve been hiking mountains for years, but this was the first time we explored underneath one, and it was truly eye-opening. We were in a group of four, and Brent was such a fun, knowledgeable tour guide. We met in Canmore to get our gear, drove 5 minutes to the trailhead, hiked for 20 minutes to the cave entrance, and started our 4 hour tour underground in Rat’s Nest Cave. We chose the Adventure Tour, which includes an 18 meter rappel (6 storey building) and squeezing through several small chutes, which sounds scary, but was such a fun mental challenge (and no previous experience is required). Brent was so conscious of our comfort levels, while also challenging us to get the most out of the tour. He shared history, science and personal experiences as we explored the cave and new areas that Canmore Cave Tours themselves have discovered and dug out. We can honestly say we’ve NEVER had an experience like this before, and we can’t recommend it highly enough!

I read a review on a Facebook page that this tour was one of the best things they did in Banff and I must agree! Jamie was our guide and she was GREAT. So much information about the rock formations inside and the history. I wasn’t expecting to learn so much about the rocks but loved it! We did the adventure tour and I honestly didn’t feel scared at all. Jamie was so calming talking us through everything and letting us know what was optional. We all completed everything. We thought the rappelling and laundry shoot would be scary but they were so much fun! Would 100% recommend this tour! I’d never done caving before and although it’s not a hobby I’m now gonna start, it was still a once in a life time experience (that i will probably do again haha)

This was my second time, and I would do it again! The rappel on the longer tour is fun, and our guide, Jamie, was knowledgeable and friendly. I loved scooting along in the darkness for a bit! Make sure to say hi to Chewy along the way. Definitely a must do.
